IRS Rules – Workers Can Both be Employees and ICs

Recently the government has specified that an employee can also work as an Independent Contractor (IC) for the same company. Said employee has to simply hold different positions because the IRS looks at specific duties of the jobs to decide upon legalities. This also brings to the table hiring ICs, as payroll employees, who have worked or are currently working for your company. This is a good way for employees to make a little extra cash or ICs to grab a more stable income.
