Post Views 3Significant new changes to the Kansas Wage Payment Act will go into effect on July 1, allowing employers more latitude in how they may garnish an employee’s wages. Under the new law, an employer may actually deduct payment for loans, recover overpayment, recover property issued to the employee, or cover the cost of merchandise without the employee’s consent.
