Finish Strong, Touch the Sky

With all of the Chicken Little “The Sky is Falling” employment and financial reports that have been in the news lately, it’s easy to feel down, especially on a Monday when the holidays are so close. Plus, things are tough for a lot of you right now. Some of you may be out of work and having to face down the reality of that stack of bills piling up next to the door. Others might be okay for now, but are fully bracing themselves for any grim news on the horizon.

Rather than simply tell you “It’s all going to be okay” (which seems like such a trite, empty phrase given the straits many people are in), we here at Employment Crossroads want to show you an amazing video of a young man who, instead of thinking the sky is falling, believes that the sky is the limit. Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs. Although he had many tough years during his childhood and adolescence (and imaginably so), Nick has been able to use his lack of limbs and his sense of humor to motivate and inspire others to “Finish Strong.”
